The Islamic Studies Program contributes to several curricular initiatives at Indiana University and elsewhere. Here at IU, we offer a Certificate in Islamic Studies, which is open only to degree-seeking undergraduate students enrolled at Indiana University, Bloomington. We maintain a list of courses that have Islamic Studies content, or which count as languages of the Muslim world, broadly defined. We are also part of a Mellon-funded fifteen-university initiative to develop a digital Islamic Studies curriculum.
